2 days already
down in another very busy week…
We have
assemblies all this week at The Albion High School about Christmas. It’s so
much fun doing the assemblies—we have a blast making up and performing the skits
and listening to Henry speak to the kids afterwards. I asked one of the kids on
the Eden Bus last night what she thought about the assembly yesterday and she
told me it was boring—even though kids say that, I think it’s just a face they
feel they have to put on in front of their friends. I think they do enjoy them, or at least give
them something to think about. The Eden Bus went really well last night—we had
a lot of fun with the kids and a lot of good conversations took place.
Tonight
Christine and I got to go ice skating at Piccadilly Gardens with the Brownies—it
was so much fun!! It was so neat to see how so many of the girls were scared at
first but by the end they had conquered their fears and were no longer skating
along the edges of the rink! I feel like I got to know some of the girls a lot
better through it too, so praise God for that!
As our time
here this semester is rapidly drawing to a close, I would ask that you would
pray for all of us to keep pushing through and not to quit early. We still have
a very busy week ahead of us so pray for our ministries too—we have so many
opportunities that we don’t want to pass up! God bless!
